Our Cheeses Cheese Pic

We have retired as cheesemakers, so we do not now have cheese to sell. Our farmstead cheeses were hand-made on our farm in small batches, using only milk from our herd.  Licensed in May 2006 as cheesemakers, we produced fresh chevre daily from April through November. The chevre was available both plain and herbed, with herbs grown organically in our own gardens. We also produced goat milk feta and farmer's cheese. Chocolate goat cheese truffles were made just before the Thanksgiving holidays.

During the milking season, our milk was hand-carried from the milking parlor to the cheese room as the goats were milked mornings and nights. Milk for cheesemaking was entirely free of antibiotics and added hormones.
